Our head instructor has over 25 years training experience. He is aided by other instructors, each of whom have been training for a minimum of 15 years.

David Woodard, dojo head: sandan (3rd Degree) started training in Los Angeles in 1976. He also lived and trained in Japan for 9 years.

Dan Magyari: sandan (3rd degree), began training in New York City in 1979. He has been training in California since 1986.

Betsy Marvit, dojo manager: nidan (2nd degree), began training at Caltech in 1989 under Mr. Ohshima. She has also trained at Waseda University in Tokyo and throughout France.
